Terms of Use
⚠️ DRAFT — baseline terms for the free v1.0 extension. Review (ideally with legal counsel) and finalize before publishing, and revise when paid tiers launch.
1. The service
TabHarbor is a local-first Chrome extension that saves, restores, and backs up your browser tabs and tab groups on your own device. The core extension is free; optional paid Premium and Team plans add encrypted cloud sync, automation, and team features. TabHarbor is operated by TabHarbor.
2. Your data
Your saved tabs, settings, snapshots, and backups stay on your device or in locations you choose. We do not operate a server that receives your data. See our Privacy Policy for details.
3. Acceptable use
Use TabHarbor lawfully. Do not attempt to misuse the extension to harm others, and do not redistribute modified copies in a way that misrepresents them as the official product.
4. No warranty
TabHarbor is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. While the product is built integrity-first to help you not lose data, you are responsible for keeping your own backups and for verifying that restores meet your needs.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the maker of TabHarbor is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, including loss of data, arising from use of the extension.
6. Paid plans, billing & reseller
Premium and Team are subscriptions (monthly or annual) and require an account. Premium starts with a 7-day free trial; a payment method is required to begin and you can cancel in one click before it converts. Purchases are sold by Paddle.com, which acts as the Merchant of Record and reseller of TabHarbor and handles payment, billing, and VAT/sales tax. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase. See our Refund Policy for cancellations and refunds.
7. Changes
These terms may change; the "Last updated" date will reflect the latest version.
